Axxela Limited donates two brand new patrol vehicles to OGSTF

Today, the Ogun State Security Trust Fund (OGSTF) received two (2) brand new patrol vehicles donated to the Trust Fund by the management of Axxela Limited – a leading gas distribution company to help further the vision of a safe, secure and prosperous Gateway State as well as the mission of mobilising stakeholders and harnessing resources for a safe, secure and prosperous Gateway State. The presentation was made by Mr. Bolaji Osunsanya CEO of Axxela and received by Otunba Opeyemi Agbaje Executive Secretary/CEO of OGSTF.  

While speaking to the press, Mr Bolaji Osunsanya at Axxela’s office in Victoria Island, Lagos where the presentation took place expressed his confidence in the leadership and achievements of the Trust Fund, being confident that the donation will boost the Security Trust Fund’s operations and make impact in achieving a secured environment that will be crime-free.  

Also, Otunba Opeyemi Agbaje emphasized that OGSTF’s board has a commitment to continue to uphold the highest standards of governance, transparency, and accountability to all our stakeholders, especially donors and promise to apply the funds and resources in line with the mission and funding priorities.  

Do not forget that the Ogun State Security Trust Fund was relaunched and reinvigorated on August 24, 2019 by His Excellency Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun MFR, the Governor of Ogun State and since then, the new board of the Trust Fund has provided the security agencies within the state with: 1 Marine Gunboat; 116 fully equipped patrol vehicles + fuelling, servicing, and maintenance; 160 fully equipped patrol motorcycles + fuelling, servicing, and maintenance; another 20 patrol motorcycles for the security task force in Yewa; 1 Drone; Comprehensive insurance on all patrol vehicles and motorcycles; Tyre Protection installation on all vehicles and motorcycles; 500 Walkie-Talkies to the state police command and related security agencies; 3 sets of Control Room facilities; 500 CUG Mobile Phones; 5000 Face Masks; Internet (Walkie-Talkies and Mobiles Phones); Toll free line for police control room, batons, shocking batons (tasers), flashlights and bullet proof vests for Amotekun; Support for Police Legal Department in aid of the fight against sexual and gender-based crimes and more.
